Happiness K-Drama Review: One of the Best Zombie Survival Series You Might Have Missed | Happiness Korean zombie drama

"Happiness" is a Korean thriller series about two longtime friends who find themselves trapped inside an apartment building during a deadly zombie outbreak. I finally watched "Happiness", and honestly, I wish I had started it sooner. The story follows two friends who have known each other since their school days. Years later, both are working in different government departments and living very different lives. But everything changes when a mysterious drug begins turning people into violent infected monsters. Most of the series takes place inside a large apartment complex where residents suddenly find themselves trapped and cut off from the outside world. What makes "Happiness" stand out is that it isn't just about zombies. Yes, the infected are dangerous and create plenty of tense moments, but the real focus is often on the people trapped inside the building. Their fears, selfish decisions, relationships, and survival instincts become just as importan...

Obsession is a supernatural horror thriller about a wish that comes true… and turns into a nightmare.

Obsession is a supernatural horror thriller about a wish that comes true… and turns into a nightmare. I watched Obsession recently, and the basic idea is something most people can relate to. Wanting someone who doesn’t feel the same way. The movie takes that idea and asks a simple question: What if you could magically make someone love you? The story follows a guy named Baer, who is deeply in love with a girl named Nikki. In desperation, he uses a supernatural object that promises to grant one wish. And it works. Suddenly, everything seems perfect. Nikki starts paying attention to him. They get closer. The relationship begins exactly the way he wanted. But that perfect romance doesn't stay perfect for long. What starts as a dream slowly turns into something dark, disturbing, and dangerous. And that's where the movie becomes much more interesting than I expected. The strongest part of the film is the atmosphere. It doesn't rely on monsters, jump scares, or huge visual effec...

The Magic Faraway Tree feels like the kind of movie made for kids who still believe magic can actually exist

The Magic Faraway Tree feels like the kind of movie made for kids who still believe magic can actually exist So I finally watched The Magic Faraway Tree after it recently became available on VOD, and honestly… this movie knows exactly who it’s made for. And that audience is definitely kids. The story follows a family that loses almost everything and ends up moving far away from the city to live a much simpler life on a farm. No Wi-Fi. No technology. No modern distractions. Just a quiet life in the middle of nowhere. And then the kids discover something strange — an enchanted tree. A magical tree that opens the door to mysterious worlds if you truly believe in magic. And once the kids step into that world… the movie fully turns into a fantasy adventure. What I liked most is how visually charming the movie feels. The CGI, magical creatures, fantasy worlds, and VFX moments actually look pretty good. You can tell the production budget wasn’t small. And even though this is clearly a ...

Soldier Boy might secretly be the best tracker in The Boys universe.

Soldier Boy might secretly be the best tracker in The Boys universe. If you really pay attention to "Soldier Boy", the guy somehow always finds everyone. Right after waking up from 40 years of cryosleep, he tracks down "Crimson Countess" almost immediately. Then he finds the TNT Twins at Herogasm, hunts down "Mindstorm" hidden deep in the woods, and finishes every single target connected to his betrayal. Yeah, "Billy Butcher" and Hughie helped sometimes… but Soldier Boy always seems to know exactly who to use and where to go. Now in Season 5, while "Homelander" struggles for an entire year trying to find Butcher, Soldier Boy suddenly appears right in front of Butcher’s car like it’s nothing. No clues. No tech. Just instinct and experience. At this point, he doesn’t need GPS. He IS the GPS. Movie’s Roar — I recommend movies, review them honestly, and bring fast updates to your feed. Who’s actually more dangerous: Homelander’s po...

The Sheep Detective Review: A Weird Idea That Somehow Turns Into a Really Good Movie

The Sheep Detective Review: A Weird Idea That Somehow Turns Into a Really Good Movie I watched The Sheep Detective in theatres yesterday, mostly because the poster caught my attention. That’s honestly the only reason I went for it. After watching the trailer, I expected something very average. The concept sounded too childish to take seriously. I mean… a murder mystery solved by sheep? It didn’t sound like something that could actually work. But surprisingly, this movie completely proved me wrong. The story follows a lonely shepherd played by Hugh Jackman. He lives a quiet life with his sheep and genuinely treats them like family. He talks to them, takes care of them, and even tells them detective stories at night. Then one day, he’s murdered. The police can’t figure out who did it, and eventually the sheep themselves begin trying to solve the mystery. That’s basically the setup of the movie. And yes, it sounds ridiculous on paper. But somehow, the movie makes it work. What surp...

Swapped is one of those animated movies that looks fun at first… and then hits way harder than expected

Swapped is one of those animated movies that looks fun at first… and then hits way harder than expected So Swapped recently dropped on Netflix, and the reason it’s trending everywhere honestly makes sense after watching it. The basic idea is simple. Two wild-animal characters somehow end up swapping bodies… and the interesting part is — they’re not even on good terms with each other. That’s all you really need to know before going in. Because the real magic of this movie isn’t the plot twist itself… it’s the feeling it gives you while watching. The whole movie has this fantasy-world vibe that feels weirdly comforting and emotional at the same time. And what surprised me most is how hard it actually hits emotionally if you look at it from a human perspective. Underneath all the animation and comedy, there’s a very real emotional layer running through the story. Usually I prefer original audio for most content, but animated movies are different. A good dub can completely change th...

The House of Spirit — dark, disturbing, and definitely not for everyone

So I checked out The House of Spirit … and before anything else, let me be clear — this is not a casual watch. This is a supernatural drama, but at the same time, it gets pretty disturbing. There’s a scene early on that crosses into very uncomfortable territory, and that alone tells you something important: 👉 this is NOT something you watch with family. The story, at its core, revolves around different women across generations. But right now, only the first three episodes are out, and most of the focus is on one central character.  She has this ability to see spirits since childhood… and even as she grows up, that ability doesn’t go away. At the same time, there’s another emotional thread running parallel. A man who once loved her sister deeply… but loses her. That loss breaks him completely. And later, he ends up marrying the main character. But he’s not the same person anymore. And that’s where things start getting uncomfortable, both emotionally and psychologically. What...

If Wishes Could Kill — simple idea… but it turns dark really fast

So I just watched If Wishes Could Kill on Netflix … and honestly, I wasn’t planning to talk about it this much, but I kind of have to. Because this is one of those series that hooks you before you even realize it. The concept sounds simple at first. Imagine there’s an app on your phone… where any wish you make actually comes true. Sounds fun, right? Good grades — done. Love life — fixed. Revenge — handled. But yeah… it’s not that simple. Because the moment your wish gets fulfilled… something else happens. And that “something” is what turns this into a proper dark experience. What I liked is how quickly the series pulls you in. You start with one episode… then you’re already thinking about the second… then the third… and before you realize it, you’re deep into it. It keeps feeding you one big question: How is this even possible?  How can a simple app do something like this?  And instead of giving you instant answers, the show makes you wait. The first three episodes feel li...
